Figurative Language
I have learned about onomatopeia is saying words over and over like crick ,crack ,crick ,crack. A simile is when you say the lions roar is louder than a subway. Only one thing separates a simile a metaphor is like and as a simile has like and as an Ex . Our lawn is so bright the suns eyes hurt. With out figurative language stories would be boring.

What I learnd about the Eastern Woodlands is that they liked to hunt deer for meat.
The Southwest Desert did not have big animals they had small animals like a rabbits.
The Great Plains needed to hunt buffalo to last them for a long time.
The Northwest coast did fishing more than hunting because there beside the ocean.
