Figurative Language

I have learned about onomatopiea it's like pedal, pedal, pedal from Saturdays and teacakes.   I have also learned about similes like your eyes are as big as the clouds.                              This is one of the things i've learned is alliteration like peter picked lots of peppers.              I've also learned about a metaphor when you say something like you have a wide green lawn.              Did you know? Did you know that lots of other countries use figurative language too?

My dog

My dog acts like a human because when she gets something in her eye she uses her paw to try to get it out. Her name is Grace she is really cute. When we got her for christmas she was like a month old I really love her I just want to keep her for ever.

Social Studies

The Southwest Desert men hunted bear, buffalo, fish, rabbit, and deer.

The Great plains women started fires, made teepees and baskets.

The Northwest Coast children used buffalo bladders to get water for the men and it was almost impossible to leak.

The Eastern Woodlands men made fires sometimes but most of the times they just hunt for food and chop down trees.
